DAY 18 - June 10, 2018

SECRETS

Artist - Julie Morstad - found on Pinterest under blog:  thejealouscurator.com

A young boy stood in his dory
In the early morning glow
He was saddened and was sorry
By the secrets he buried below

His stories safely concealed
Consumed by the swaying grass
He desperately wanted to appeal
But he knew forever would last

Along came a lovely black swan
Attached to a girl on a string
They saw the sad boy on the pond
And thought it appropriate to sing

"We know you have a story,
But we don't know what it is
We hope it's not too gory
So let us eat Cheese Whiz"

"Our teacher breathes under water
With a school inside his beard
This man says he's our father
Which seems a little weird."

"Release whatever made you sad
You don't need it any way
Slap on a smile, don't be mad
Hurry now....it's time for us to play!"

They honked and they giggled
And the boy began to smile
The boy just wiggled and jiggled
And became happy after awhile

So the moral of this story...
Let go what you don't need
Enjoy each morning glory
And a wonderful day you'll lead
